B1 – Expert Report – approx. 6 -15 – 40 - 90pp incl. photos & Appendices.
- Authoritatively explains the issues causing perceived site problems. (Regular report for commercial/ private on flooring/ building matters/ disputes).
- Covers all situations from simple to more complex analyses & writeup.
- ‘Real world’ applied job troubleshooting in building, industry, or research.
- Provides specialist expert witness support for client disputes across industry, builders, homeowners, insurance, at all levels of arbitration including at Tribunal and/or Supreme Court.
- Also addresses more detailed (than B1) non-dispute investigative general client support topics e.g. specification, product design, wood utilisation, in-service performance, technical, research, others (please ask).

B2 – Brief Expert Advice – approx. 2 - 4pp incl. possible photo & Appendix.
- Simple professional information on ‘letterhead’ about wood properties, suitability of timber for intended use, and similar basic matters. Provides non-dispute general client support. Transitions to relevant part of B1 if more detail/ investigation required.
GENERAL
- ALL advice/reports have TWO INPUTS to costs: (a) Analysis of issues via support data from email/ phone/ site/ research/ lab work; and (b) Writeup targeted advice/ report as required.
- Good expert reports professionally inform and secure the Client’s position, no more or less. The retainer/ monthly update system allows client confidence on costs, as Timberhelp works with the client to progress a value-based partnership experience.
